Bertrand Fouillet is Head of Design & Product Ops at Softway Medical. I built Faros, our design system, from scratch. It's now used by 50 squads, built to scale as the group expands internationally.

16 years in the industry. The last 13, hands-on in digital craft (UI/UX), after 3 years running a creative team in print and digital production. I didn't start as a manager theorizing about design. I started making things, and learned what actually breaks when you try to scale them.

Today I run Design & Product Ops for the group. Governance, roadmap, adoption numbers on one side. Workshops and training on the other, so design and product actually work together, day to day. I lead a team, and I love seeing what we build become living products, not one-off projects that ship once and get left alone.

That includes the tooling we ship to remove friction for product teams: an AI-assisted prototyping tool wired into our design system, and a multi-agent tool that strengthens user story quality. Both live in production.
